Our recruitment process
Step 1 – Initial Discovery Call
We begin with a consultation to understand your business and recruitment needs.
During this conversation, we will discuss:
- Your business, culture, and values.
- The role you are recruiting for.
- The skills, experience, and personality you're looking for.
- Any challenges you've experienced with previous recruitment.
- Salary, benefits, working arrangements, and timescales.
- Our recruitment process and how we can best support your hiring needs.
Step 2 – Proposal & Agreement
Following our discussion, we'll provide a clear overview of our services, recruitment fees, and terms of business.
Once agreed, we'll confirm the recruitment timeline and begin preparing your advertisement for the role.
Step 3 – Vacancy & Candidate Attraction
We create a recruitment campaign designed to showcase your opportunity.
This includes:
- Professionally written job advertisements.
- Promotion across leading job boards and social media platforms.
- Targeted candidate sourcing using our network and database.
- Proactive headhunting where appropriate.
Our aim is to attract high-quality candidates who align with your business values and requirements.
Step 4 – Candidate Screening & Selection
Every applicant is carefully screened before being presented to you.
Our process includes:
- CV review for Skills and experience assessment.
- Pre-screening interview via telephone or teams.
- Behavioural and values-based questioning.
- Motivation for applying and career aspirations.
- Right to work and eligibility checks where appropriate.
Only candidates we believe are a strong match will be shortlisted.
Step 5 – Candidate Shortlist
You'll receive a carefully selected shortlist who align with your business, including:
- Candidate CV.
- A summary of their experience.
- Interview notes.
- Salary expectations.
- Notice period.
- Our recommendation and observations from the pre-screening interview.
We focus on quality over quantity, ensuring you only spend time interviewing suitable candidates.
Step 6 – Interview Coordination
We manage the entire interview process on your behalf, including:
- Arranging interview dates and times.
- Preparing candidates before interview, ensuring they are prepared.
- Collecting feedback from both parties.
- Keeping communication clear and timely throughout.
If a candidate requires any reasonable adjustments during the interview process, we will work with you to ensure these are accommodated wherever possible, creating an inclusive and positive recruitment experience.
Step 7 – Offer Management
Once you've selected your preferred candidate, we will:
- Present the offer.
- Manage expectations.
- Maintain regular communication with the candidate through to acceptance.
Step 8 – Pre-Start Support
Our support doesn't stop once the offer is accepted.
We stay in regular contact with both you and your new employee throughout their notice period, helping to maintain engagement and minimise the risk of counteroffers or dropouts.
Step 9 – Aftercare
After your new employee has started, we'll check in with both you and the candidate to ensure everything is progressing well.
