Who are we

Charlotte Brealy - Company owner

I started Values & Talent from a genuine passion for people and a strong belief that recruitment should be done differently.

For me, it’s never just about filling a role. It’s about finding someone who truly fits within the organisation, the team, and the culture. To me this is looking beyond the CV and having meaningful conversations with candidates to truly understand who they are, what motivates them, and how they work.

My career has taken me through retail, HR, and now recruitment, giving me a unique perspective on what businesses really need. As a Department Manager in retail, I experienced first-hand the pace, pressure, and importance of having the right people in place. I saw how much of a difference the right team can make, not just to performance, but to the overall environment.

Moving into HR gave me a deeper understanding of people from employee relations to performance management and the full employee lifecycle. Working within a small business, I had the opportunity to hire individuals who truly aligned with company values, and that’s where my passion for recruitment really grew.

Now, I bring all of that experience together. I focus on more than just skills. I look at mindset, values, and long-term fit.

My goal is simple: to connect the right people with the right businesses in the right way.
